The short version: buy a course and it is yours to learn from, on your own account, for as long as we are running. Do not share your login or republish the lessons. The first two lessons of every course are free so you can see what you are buying before you pay.

These terms apply when you use this website or buy anything on it. They are between you and Minati Ma'am's Academy. If you do not agree with them, please do not buy.

Try before you pay

The first two lessons of every course are free. You do not need an account, a card, or anything else to read them. They are the real lessons, not a sample or a trailer, and you also get to see the full list of every lesson in the course before you decide.

This matters, so it is said plainly: by the time you pay, you have already read two complete lessons of the exact course you are buying.

What you get when you buy

• Access to every lesson in that course, through your own account, on any device you sign in on.
• Any corrections or additions we later make to that course, at no extra charge.
• Access for as long as the Academy is running. There is no monthly fee and no renewal.

If we take a course off sale, you keep it. Withdrawing something from the shop stops new people buying it; it does not take it away from the people who already did.

Your account is yours alone

One account, one person. Please do not share your sign-in details, and please do not let somebody else use your account. If we find one account being used by a group, we may close it, and we would not owe a refund for that.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account. You can sign out of every device from your account settings.

What you may and may not do with the lessons

Every lesson, question and explanation on this site was written and edited by hand. It belongs to the Academy.

Yes

• Read it, study it, and take your own notes.
• Print a page for your own use.
• Quote a sentence or two to a friend or in a class, if you say where it came from.

No

• Copying the lessons onto another website, app, PDF, or channel.
• Selling, sharing or giving away the content, in whole or in part.
• Using it to teach a paid class of your own, without asking us first.
• Downloading it in bulk with a script or a scraper.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in Indian rupees and include any tax that applies.
• You pay the price shown on the screen at the moment you check out. If we change a price later, it does not change what you already paid.
• Payment is taken by a licensed payment provider. We never see your card details.
• Access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds.

If a payment leaves your bank but the course does not open, that is our problem to fix and not yours to prove. Write to us and we will sort it out.

Refunds

Because the first two lessons of every course are free before you pay, and because the whole course opens the moment you buy, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. We do refund when something has gone wrong at our end — you were charged twice, or you were charged and never got access. The full wording is on the refunds page.

Booked sessions

A one-to-one session is a separate booking with its own time and price. If you need to move or cancel one, tell us as far ahead as you can and we will do our best. A session missed without warning cannot usually be refunded, because the time was held for you and could not be given to anybody else.

Keeping the site running

We work to keep the site available all the time and we watch it automatically so that we usually know something is wrong before you tell us. We cannot promise it will never be down — no website can. If it is unavailable for long enough to matter, write to us.

We may change how the site looks or works, add courses, and improve existing ones. We will not quietly remove lessons from a course you have paid for.

Closing an account

You can ask us to close your account and remove your personal details at any time — see the privacy page for how. Closing an account ends your access to the courses on it, and that cannot be undone, so we will check with you first.

We may close an account that is being shared, used to copy the content, or used to abuse other people. We would tell you why.

Honest limits

These courses will teach you English. They cannot promise you a particular exam score, a job, or an interview result, and anybody who promises you those is selling something else. What we are responsible for is delivering the course you paid for, and if we fail to, the most we owe you is what you paid us.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. A change that affects what you have already bought will be emailed to you, not slipped in quietly.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Getting in touch
